Privacy Policy

1. Overview

Kash is a personal budgeting application developed and operated by Netanel Shoshan. This policy explains what information Kash collects, why it is used, where it is processed, and the choices available to you.

2. Information we collect

Account information

You may use Kash through an anonymous Firebase account or sign in with Apple or Google. Depending on the method you choose, we receive an account identifier and may receive your name or email address. We do not receive your Apple ID or Google password.

Financial information you provide

Kash stores the transactions, amounts, dates, categories, notes, budgets, recurring details, and financial goals you enter or import. This information is used to provide the ledger, budgets, insights, widgets, Apple Watch features, and synchronization across your devices.

Optional location information

If you grant foreground location permission or attach a place to a transaction, Kash may process coordinates and place details for that transaction. Apple MapKit and geocoding services may process the location request. Kash does not track your location in the background.

Device and service information

Kash may process app and operating-system information, Firebase identifiers, notification tokens, App Check integrity signals, and limited service diagnostics required to authenticate requests, deliver notifications, protect the backend, and keep features working.

Support communications

If you contact support, we receive the information you include in your message and your reply address.

3. How information is used

• Provide, synchronize, and secure your Kash account and financial records.
• Generate the budgets, summaries, maps, and insights you request.
• Process imported transaction files and user-created records.
• Deliver account and app notifications when you enable them.
• Prevent abuse, diagnose service failures, and improve reliability.
• Answer support requests and comply with legal obligations.

4. Services that process information

These providers may process information in countries outside your own. Their handling of information is also governed by their respective policies and contractual safeguards.

5. Retention and deletion

Account and financial information is retained while your Kash account remains active and as needed to provide the service. Support correspondence may be retained for a reasonable period to resolve requests and maintain business records.

You can also request help with deletion at support@netanel.io. Information that must be retained to meet a legal obligation may be kept only for the required period.

6. Your choices

• Change or remove transaction, budget, and category information inside Kash.
• Disable location or notification access in Apple system settings.
• Disconnect Apple or Google sign-in through the applicable account settings.
• Delete your Kash account and associated cloud data from the app.
• Contact us to ask about access, correction, portability, objection, or deletion rights available in your region.

7. Security

Kash uses platform authentication, access-controlled Firebase records, App Check, and encryption in transit. Cloud providers also protect stored data using their infrastructure controls. No electronic storage or transmission method is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

8. Children

Kash is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information to Kash, contact us so we can investigate and delete it where appropriate.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as Kash or applicable requirements change. The revised policy will appear on this page with a new last-updated date. Material changes may also be communicated in the app when appropriate.
